Silver Filled Wire, Pro-Quality Silver-Bonded Wire is 6% fine silver (.999) over a brass core. The layer of silver is many times thicker than plated products and Silver Filled Wire can be manipulated like sterling silver and can be wrapped and soldered. “Dead-Soft” wire is very pliable and can be easily bent into any number of shapes. It will not hold a shape in instances where it would be subject to tension, such as on a clasp.
