Kambaba Jasper is mined exclusively in Africa, it's also known as 'Crocodile Jasper' because of its combination of dusky green base color and deep brown/black tapered oval rings reminiscent of crocodile skin. The swirling green is caused by ancient fossilized algae that is one of the oldest known forms of life on earth. The photo is a sample and pendant may vary in colour due to the nature of the stone.
